Institute of Engineering and Technology at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, also known as IET DAVV, is an autonomous engineering institute established in 1996. The self-financed institution was founded under DAVV’s University Teaching Departments (UTD) framework to deliver excellent technical education to aspiring engineers. The institute, which opened its doors in 1996 with just a batch of 90 students, now has a total intake capacity of more than 900.
IET DAVV is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Madhya Pradesh. IET DAVV courses include a number of UG, PG, and PhD-level courses in the field of engineering and applied sciences. Founded in 1996, the IET DAVV campus islocated near the DAVV Takshashila campus on Khandwa Road in the southeast of Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. The campus offers a number of modern amenities and facilities to create a holistic learning environment. In fact, the IET DAVV campus was used as the temporary campus for IIT Indore before the establishment of its permanent campus at Simrol.
The Entrepreneurship Cell at IET DAVV is the most active student body that keeps alive the entrepreneurial and innovative spirit on campus. The functions under the institute’s incubation centre - Atal Centre for Innovation, Incubation, and Entrepreneurship (ACIIE). It also has a Tech Club that propagates a technical mindset in future engineers. Invento is the annual technical festival on the IET DAVV campus held in August and September every year.
The IET DAVV campus facilities also include separate hostels for boys and girls, laboratories, a library, outdoor sports facilities, a canteen, and a seminar hall. Moreover, the institute organises its annual cultural programme Aakshank.

Applications to Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana (MMVY) are open now. The last date to apply is December 15, 2022.
IET DAVV offers a number of government and institutional scholarships to its deserving students. These IET DAVV scholarships are both merit and need-based. Students can apply for the scholarships under Mukhyamantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana (MMVY) through the institution. Every year, the institution publishes a notification for the MMVY scholarship. It also offers SC/ST/OBC Scholarship as per the government norms.
